Measuring Impedances

Measuring impedances (also known as quadripoles) are used for the decoupling of PD current pulses placed in series with a coupling capacitor in standard measuring circuits to convert into voltage pulses for analysis with a PD detector according to IEC 60270. An additional voltage signal output allows for the voltage measurement and synchronization of the applied test voltage for phase-resolved measurements.

Measuring Impedance Models:

Fixed low voltage capacitance (max. 3 A):    AKV 9310

Fixed low voltage capacitance (max. 5 A):     AKV 9360

Switchable low voltage capacitance (max. 6 A):    AQS 9110a

For large power capacitors (max. 300 A):     AKV 9330

Bridge Impedance:    HBD-1
