EMC shielded housing, specially filtered power supplies and signal transmission via fiber optics are common to all our products. For that reason the emissions are way below the standard limits and the immunity above the usual requirements. Only the highest quality components find the way into our products. This ensures that the mechanical and even more important, the optical features, of all camera systems are outstanding. The quality of the lens and the CCD chip in the camera module are crucial for a good surveillance system. Where suitable we use Pentax® lenses and 1/3″ CCD cameras to gain the best possible resolution and light sensitivity.

When performing EMC emissions testing, monitoring the device under test (DUT) without interfering with the measurement is important. During EMC immunity testing, the monitoring system has to withstand the high field strengths generated during testing.

All devices containing electronic components—from a small electric shaver to automobiles—are subject to EMC compliance testing. PONTIS EMC hardened audio and video products cover a wide range of applications including:

HD Cameras

Modern mobile devices, PCs, and TVs utilize displays with very high resolution. In this case, analog video may not offer enough resolution. The HDCam6 and HDCam7 cameras offer full-HD, uncompressed format (HD-SDI) with resolutions up to 1920*1080 pixels from sensor to display. In order to control and handle the massive data streams, these HD cameras need to be connected to HD controllers. We can configure these controllers to drive up to 4 cameras, including audio interfaces.
