The AVI-LV3 is a state of the art test system for DO-160 Section 22 and MIL-STD-461 CS117. Full compliance up to level 3 for PIN injection and Cable bundle tests including Single Stroke, Multiple Stroke and Multiple Burst. Complies with CS117 test levels for internal equipment. Tests are programmed from the user friendly color touch panel controls. A single coupler with aperture 5.5 cm x 8 cm transfers waveforms 1, 2, 3, 5A & 6 into the EUT. Waveform 4 cable injection requires the CN-GI-CI-V voltage injection transformer. Cables only need to pass through the coupler once to achieve full Level 3 under all possible conditions. The AVI-LV3 is fully integrated into TEMA3000 software allowing remote control, sequencing, DSO control and report generation.

AVI-LV5 Indirect Lightning Effects Test System
The AVI-LV5 is the newest EMC PARTNER indirect lightning test system, which fully integrates all waveforms from MIL-STD-461G and RTCA DO-160 (Levels 1 to 5) as standard, making it a compact and efficient solution for indirect lightning testing. The test system meets and exceeds all DO-160 Section 22 requirements with options to meet Boeing and Airbus-specific test requirements. AVI-LV5 is split into two separate generators, one for pin injection and one for cable bundle testing. The design is optimized to reach test or limit levels in all cases and will meet the requirements of the new DO-160 Revision H or previous versions. With just two couplers, it streamlines the testing process while maintaining versatility.
An open architecture allows expansion of the system, such as for custom WF3 plugins to support additional frequencies (contact sales for details), and includes power-blocking devices to protect the generator during pin injection tests. Optional transient-blocking devices are available to protect the power supply during pin-injection tests using the direct-injection method. The AVI-LV5-CB generator includes WF 5A and WF 5B as standard features, and its design requires only two injection transformers for all levels and waveforms, ensuring faster generator performance verification and testing. The adjustable MS subsequent stroke level can be managed with the EXT-AVI5-MS, while an optional 30-stroke module (OPT-MS-30) is available for enhanced testing needs. Additionally, the system offers increased energy output for higher impedance cable bundles, and three-phase LISNs with optional DC voltage extensions are available in configurations of either 5 μH or 50 μH per line.
